Education Qualification: Bachelor of engineering, telcos, computer science, or a related field No. of Years of Experience: 5 years+ experience Technical Skills Deep knowledge of communication system theory and wireless systems Good understanding of 3GPP/ETSI standards on L1/L2/L3. Experience in LTE / 5G NR PHY layer / RF is a strong plus. Familiarity with one of automotive level 5G Modem platforms, i.e., Qualcomm SA5x5, and MTK MT2735 Good understanding of SOC system architecture and SOC software bring-up, software validation. Experience with scripting languages like Python on at least one of Cellular Signaling Analyzers, i.e., R&S CMW, Anritsu, and Datang. Experience with carrier/ industry conformance radiated performance requirements like 3GPP, PTCRB, CTIA, ETSI, etc. Strong knowledge of GSMA IoT and roaming standards/guidelines is a plus, i.e., SGP.02, SGP.32, TSG.34, IR.88, NG.111, NG.113 Familiar with connected vehicle system architecture and related technologies and standards (e.g., CAN, LIN, Ethernet,). Professional on test methodology and test case design principles Good understanding of NG-eCall is a plus. Good understanding of any RAT protocol layers is a plus. Functional Skills Demonstrated background in modem feature evaluation and root cause analysis. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in leading technical initiatives across functional organization and with external partners. Proficiency with issue tracking tools, i.e., Jira. Proficiency with case management tools, i.e., Testrail.
