i3 is seeking a Test Engineer to provide test engineering expertise in support of evaluation and qualification of Uncrewed Aircraft Systems. Ideal candidates have recent and relevant experience gained from military/civilian service and are adept at briefing mid and senior staff personnel. This position is located in Huntsville, AL. 

Responsibilities Coordinates with external test agencies such as the Redstone Test Center and the Army Test and Evaluation Command to plan and execute both system-level and component test programs required for the qualification and characterization of Uncrewed Aircraft Systems.Provides Subject Matter Expertise in typical military aviation qualification standards such as MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-464, and the AMACC.Supports the development of Test and Evaluation Master Plan documents. Conducts reviews of test plan and test report documentation.Development/Review of Critical Operational Issues & Criteria (COIC), Critical Technical Parameters (CTPs), and System Specification Documents Development of T&E strategies and crosswalks of Capability Development Document (CDD) / Capability Product Document (CPD) requirements through the T&E process, evaluate testability of requirements & develop methodologies for the testing of these requirements. Prepares and delivers reports and briefings to senior management describing program status, issues, analyses, findings, results, recommendations, and conclusions as appropriate.Test Management & Support of test planning, coordination, execution, safety releases, airworthiness, frequency allocations, development of detailed test plans, data collection plans, data management plans, data analysis plans, test reports, quick-look briefings, test readiness reviews, and resource allocation management for but not limited to the following: system and system of systems (SoS) performance, climactic, transportability/mobility, E3, NBC analysis, dynamics, safety, reliability, air drop, lethality, airworthiness, command & control (C2) environments, missile open air & live fire, aviation flight/ground, integrated & standalone sensors testing. Effectively communicates with UAS personnel, PM UAS and PEO functionals and staff, prime contractors and suppliers, user representatives, and Army airworthiness personnel.Other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Education/Experience

ABET accredited Bachelor of Science in Engineering is required.  5 years of additional experience may substitute for degree.Minimum of five (5) years of U.S. Army aviation-related technical experience is required.  UAS experience is highly desired. Program Management Office experience desired. Professional experience using Microsoft Office applications to include Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, and Word is required. Candidate must possess a proven ability to develop and provide reports to management. Familiarity with the DOT&E processes for planning and executing Operational Test Events is desired.Active DoD Secret security clearance and the ability to maintain such is required.  U.S. Citizenship is required.
