Job Description

Danfoss Drives is seeking an experienced PCBA Test Engineer to join our test team in Graasten, Denmark.

Job Responsibilities

As our new PCBA Test Engineer, you will take on a diverse range of responsibilities and challenges. Your main role will be to design and implement functional tests for new PCBA designs, leveraging our global PCBA test platform. You will collaborate in development projects, providing test expertise from the initial design phases to final implementation and handover to operations. As our products become increasingly digital, with more advanced software content and complexity, a significant portion of your tasks will be software related.

 

Your responsibilities will also include:

 

Providing input for further development of our global PCBA test platform. Supporting product development with best practices for Design for Test (DfT). Validating new firmware prior to release during the NPI phase. Collaborating with test houses and equipment suppliers. Working closely with operations and EMS partners.

 

Our setup primarily involves NI PXI, NI TestStand, NI LabVIEW, and .NET C#.

Background & Skills

You likely hold a BSc or MSc in Electronics or a similar field, combined with several years of relevant experience in functional testing and configuration of electronic products.

 

Additionally, you bring:

 

Solid understanding of and experience with basic hardware design. Strong proficiency with NI TestStand and LabVIEW. Some experience and interest in .NET/C# (including web applications). Strong IT skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Familiarity with collaborative digital tools like MS Teams, SharePoint, Draw.io, Word, etc. Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

You are a skilled listener who challenges your colleagues by asking the right questions, driving the best solutions forward in every project. You are motivated by delivering high-quality results, even on tight deadlines.
