Job Description
Define test methodologies and systems to test detectors, application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs), and printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) used in the manufacturing of radiation imaging detectors and detector assemblies. Design, build, and maintain electrical and/or mechanical test fixtures. Develop tools and processes to automate testing. Develop procedures and train operators on test equipment. Develop hardware test diagnostics for PCBAs and Cadmium Zinc Telluride (CZT) detectors. Implement, verify, and ensure compliance of the test and measurement equipment. Develop the materials necessary for training operators to perform tests per documented processes. Document and report test setup, test plans, and test results. Coach, develop, train, and mentor less experienced test engineers.

Degree in Mechanical or Electrical/Electronics Engineering.3-7 years’ experience in a test engineering role.Experience improving and enhancing existing PCBAs, radiation detector devices, or equivalent types of equipment.Experience using data-based tools for decision making and communications.Strong analytical, technical, and methodical problem-solving skills.Good interpersonal skills with the ability to influence attitudes and foster change.Self-starting and driven agent of change.Comfortable working in an ISO 9001 environment.Experience mentoring less experienced test engineers.Experience with small electronics components.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience and comfort using methodical problem-solving approaches.Willingness to lead product improvement initiatives from a team perspective.Work Environment
On-site work required 5 days a week. You will work within a team of 5, including 2 software engineers and 1 mechanical engineer. The product being developed has a significant impact on detecting cancers, contributing to life-saving advancements.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $105000.00
