The primary role of Engineering function is to apply advance skills and knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and/or computer engineering discipline to either maintain or improve manufacturing test systems, equipment, and documents, in order to meet the current and future production volume, quality, OHS and cost requirements. Assists in the development, execution, and testing of new and existing products.

The primary objective of Test Engineering specialization within Engineering(MS) Job Family is to provide and maintain the test systems which are used within Manufacturing to ensure products are released to a known quality standard.Key responsibilities include responsibility for the design, implementation, deployment and maintenance of Test Systems used to test and calibrate ResMed product.Develops manufacturing test systems and software, provides frontline support for manufacturing test systems and/or software, writes validation protocols, production test procedures and trains assembly and test operator personnel.Works with Product Development engineers to develop test specifications, development plans and design architecture.Performs work in a specialized area of expertise that requires knowledge of fundamental themes, principles and concepts. Typically requires a university degree or equivalent work experience.Responsibilities might include:

(3) Providing advice/direction in primary areas of expertise (specialist and expert)
