Job Title: Test Technology Wing Engineer
Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Test Technology Wing Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and documenting processes on base engine calibration for both conventional and battery electric vehicles. This role requires collaboration with Calibration Engineers to create test schedules and control strategies using dyno control software.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop and document processes on base engine calibration for both conventional and battery electric vehicles.Work with Calibration Engineers to create test schedules and control strategies using dyno control software.Build engine/powertrain test schedules.Diagnose engine dynamometer test cell systems.Coordinate repairs and ensure data integrity.Maintain operational efficiency throughout the lab.Manage projects including the design and buildup of fixtures to expand test capabilities.Improve data integrity and increase testing throughout the lab.Investigate new methods to obtain accurate engine data and enhance testing for new engine programs.Essential SkillsB.S. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.5+ years of engineering experience in an engine dyno testing environment.Knowledge of data acquisition systems and data analysis techniques.Hardware project management experience.Knowledge of computer control systems.Driving ability for on-site requirements.Additional Skills & QualificationsKnowledge of internal combustion engines (ICE) and battery electric vehicles.Good analytical skills.Ability to manage multiple complex projects.Experience with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Knowledge of Matlab and Python.High organizational and planning skills.Effective communication skills with the ability to create and deliver presentations.Work Environment

This role requires on-site presence at the CTC facility 3-5 days per week. The work environment involves working with test equipment, engine/powertrain systems, and data analysis tools. Appropriate technical training for INCA software and hardware is provided. The dress code is business casual.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.28 - $43.28/hr.
