Role Summary Join our Mobile Integration QA Team and shape the future of transportation. As a key player, you'll be at the forefront of testing our cutting-edge mobile app and vehicle firmware. You'll develop innovative test strategies, dive deep into complex issues, and collaborate with brilliant minds to deliver exceptional user experiences. Responsibilities Build and maintain our internal tools, test vehicles, and test tools. Architect, build, and maintain electronic parts and equipment on test benches and test vehicles, such as RxT and RxS. Test Rivian products (mobile app, vehicle firmware, chargers, and Rivian cloud) and troubleshoot issues in the integrated or end-to-end system. Create and continually improve test strategies to test release builds, and coordinate with engineering managers to release builds on schedule to the market. Collaborate with product and development teams to create test strategies, test plans, and test cases for app features. Ensure the quality and performance of the application to specifications. Identify potential problems and work with developers to resolve application bottlenecks. Support failure analysis and root cause analysis for test and integration issues. Maintain and execute existing automation tests, analyze test results, and work with the team to triage issues. This position requires hands-on physical interaction with the hardware and Rivian and JV vehicles in the Serbia office. Qualifications 3+ years of hands-on experience in the software test cycle, including test strategies, test plans, and test cases from low-level to high-level software. Familiar with the test pyramid. Able to think outside the box to enhance our test coverage. 3+ years of experience testing with hardware and software. Experience with electronic parts with firmware, electrical equipment, and other hardware is a plus. Able to write automation to control hardware. Familiarity with iOS/Android devices, macOS, Linux, and Windows. Able to configure and manage these platforms. Have working experience with Linux command lines and write batch or shell scripts. Have a good understanding of software development, testing, and release processes, and have practiced at least 3 years. Have a good understanding of CI/CD processes and toolsets. Top-notch teamwork and communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with and influence cross-functional teams. Ability and willingness to share and pass on technical knowledge and information to team members and cross-teams. Ability to work in a fast-paced development environment. Organized, willing to share and guide others to improve, and proactive. Passion for taking software from development to a verified product. Bonus: Automotive industry experience, particularly in areas like CAN, OBD, and Ethernet. RF testing experience. Experience with complex systems and troubleshooting techniques.
