Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, this Summer, we’re looking to add a Test Engineering Intern located in our Austin, TX site.

Reporting to the Test Engineering Manager, the student will assist with daily engineering tasks while learning, collaborating and working alongside Engineers and cross-functional teams.

What a typical day looks like:

Work with fellow Test Engineers to bring up Satellite Communication Phase arrays, High Frequency RF Modules, Optical testingProduct debug and characterization to determine product performanceWork on bringing up OLT(Optical Line Transceivers), BIST, CalibrationProgram automation test code that controls variety of electronic test instruments for prototype test stationWork with cross functional teams to address corrective actionsAttends team meetings as requested

Student qualities we’re seeking for this internship assignment:

Senior pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Systems or related field from an accredited universityInterest in working in a manufacturing environment where products are manufactured at large scalePython programming, Circuit Theory coursework preferredStrong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skillsHighly collaborative, creative and excellent communication skillsPrevious industry-related internship experience is a plus!

Internship Program Requirements:

Available to start on May 27th and work 40 hours/week (in-person) for 10-12 week Summer assignmentCurrently enrolled in 4-year accredited university3.0 minimum GPA
