Production Engineering Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for the overall management of the testing equipment and the team who are tasked with maintaining and calibrating the test equipment. You will also be responsible for internal and external testing of electrical distribution products. Testing will be focused on instrumentation transformers, cut-out fuses and switches and testing will be for both low voltage and medium voltage products. The work model for the role is: onsite (#Li-Onsite)This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions division in Pinetops. You will be mainly accountable for:• Determining offered solutions and product versions, including the extent of standard and non-standard solution scope to meet customer requirements.• Working independently using solid competency in technologies, tools, and methods to solve critical issues.• Supporting technical reviews and participating in core technical meetings.• Coordinating technical support for the resolution of technical issues.• Ensure compliance with IEEE C37.20.1, C37.60 and C37.61, C37.09, IEC 62271-100 and IEC 62271-111 standards as well as ISO 17025

Qualifications for the role

4-year degree in electrical engineering with 3 years of relevant experience preferred or 4-year degree with 10-year relevant experience.Experienced in planning and executing projects.Experience in dealing with the cultural diversity of a global business environment.Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
