We’re excited to see the fresh ideas and insights you’ll bring.As a Converter Test Engineer, you’ll report to the Power Electronics Engineering Manager and join a team that values creativity, collaboration, and inclusivity. Let’s start this journey together.You will be mainly accountable for:• Define, plan and carry out Type and Qualification Testing for converters and energy storage systems.• Work closely with the series testing department to ensure alignment.• Contribute to projects aimed at enhancing test infrastructure and improving testing processes.• Manage test document templates, updating them as needed to reflect changes in standards and regulations.• Train new team members in executing tests and maintaining safe lab practices.
Qualifications for the roleGraduate Power Electronics/Electrical Engineer (HF/MEng/BEng) with a basic understanding of power electronics. Previous internships or practical test experience are advantageous.Commitment to Safety: Following strict safety protocols when handling electrical systems, ensuring a safe working environment during all test and engineering activities.Eager to Learn: Motivated to learn from experienced colleagues, absorb knowledge and best practices quickly; actively contribute to team success.Collaborative Problem Solver: Enjoys working in an inclusive team setting and is keen to take on challenges with the support and mentorship of senior engineers.Fluent in English: Communication and documentation skills in English are essential; both in writing and speaking. German language skills are a plus but not required.Willingness to Travel: Open to occasional travel for project-related activities and team collaboration.
