JR66442 Test Engineering DirectorA Director of Final Test Engineering typically oversees the development and implementation of test strategies for final product testing. Here are some key responsibilities and qualifications for this role:
Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management: Lead and manage a team of test engineers, ensuring efficient and effective testing processes.
Test Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies to ensure product quality and reliability.
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as product development, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to align testing processes with overall business goals.
Resource Management: Evaluate and allocate resources, including personnel and equipment, to meet testing requirements.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
Reporting: Prepare and present detailed test reports to senior management, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
Qualifications:
Experience: 10+ years in a test engineering leadership role.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; advanced degrees or professional certifications are a plus.
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of various test technologies and methodologies.
Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
Communication: Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
