Evinova is currently looking for a Test Engineering Leader to join our Product Engineering team. This role requires someone who is self-motivated and has a passion for building products. We’ll rely on you to bring your test engineering acumen to help the team continue to deliver world class solutions.
As a Test Engineering leader, you will bring an engineering mindset to testing and you will own testing for the products. You will be responsible for building and implementing a tailored test strategy (automated and manual) for the products you work on. As a part of this, you will be collaborating with engineering leaders and excellence teams to identify and implement tailored testing tools for the products you are responsible for testing. You will be partnering with engineering leaders of the products to establish and implement a shared vision on testing practices for the test engineer squads. You are expected to lead external test engineer squads by influence. You are expected to have a data driven mindset for testing and have experience establishing key testing metrics. You are expected to understand the test suites and willing and able to swap for a test engineer when needed. In this role you will be working in a fast-paced environment and are expected to adapt to new and changing situations to quickly solve problems and find new directions.
As a test leader, you will be responsible for test delivery of two products and will be partnering with contract test team leadership to achieve this. You will own testing for all releases of the products. As a part of this, you are expected to prepare testing artifacts and reports to showcase product release readiness status and necessary documentation. You will be also working in close collaboration with Engineering leaders and Delivery managers to ensure smooth releases. You will be collaborating with engineering managers and scrum masters across both products. You are expected to be a team player with a positive mindset, and you will be working with people across multiple locations and are expected to coordinate with both internal employees and external contractors.
As a test engineering leader, you are expected to provide tailored, high quality, operationally sustainable and complete solutions. As a part of this you will be –
Responsible for building and implementing testing strategy (manual and automated) for the products you work on – in collaboration with engineering leaders.Own testing for the products.Responsible for test plan, test metrics, and ownership of testing for all releases.Responsible for creating and maintaining automation frameworks and scriptsResponsible for analyzing test results, identifying trends and recommending improvementsAccountable for driving down manual testing for the productsResponsible for testing and quality documentation for the productsResponsible for driving engineering testing mindsetCoach/mentor team members as neededWilling to wear a tester hat when needed and write and run actual test casesAbility to write scripts as needed and lead by doingWe consider individuals in this role to be our top tier Test Engineers. A top tier test engineer is capable of working in multiple spaces and is likely to be the most experienced and skilled test engineer on the team to begin with. Learning new technology is part of that. However, you must have deep technical skills. Here are a few skills we are looking for in a person for this role –
Experience leading different technology areas into a product technology roadmap including:

Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Electrical Engineering, Math, Computer Science, Information Science, or equivalent degree is preferred.
Experience Requirements:
— Long history of enjoying problem solving
— 10+ years of hands-on test engineer experience
--- 8+ years of test engineering leader experience.

The annual base pay (or hourly rate of compensation) for this position ranges from $150,405 to $225,607. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
