You oversee the lifecycle of diverse, interdependent, cross-functional, multiple projects through a set of practices and a release plan. This includes disparate scope, resource dependencies, cross-project alignment, deployment planning, release execution and transparent reporting of release results for SAP and SAP-Integrated projects.

How you will contribute

You will oversee the operational responsibilities required to deliver projects and software releases following MDLZ best practices in Project governance and release governance, including project scope, review and approval, release-level RAID management, TG approvals, release governance boards and final preparation for project and release go-lives. In this role, you will conduct alignment sessions with senior leaders and other stakeholders to confirm that release schedules are aligned to business goals and then communicate the release roadmap to broader internal and external stakeholders. You will use your 8-12 years of project delivery and governance experience in software delivery lifecycle of SAP projects to influence leadership and projects.

Strategic Regional Testing Focus: You will be responsible for building relationships across the region and educating, influencing and advocating key MDS and Business Leaders in testing methodology understanding, securing their buy-in for key testing transformation initiatives, building regional roadmap for test automation.Own Strategic Projects: You will directly lead and drive delivery of critical transformation programs representing the continuous testing team under the DevOps team umbrellaOperational Oversight: Review and approve key test deliverables, including Test Strategy Documents (TSDs) and Test Governance (TG) reports. Ensure the timely resolution of risks, actions, issues, and decisions (RAID).Drive Planning, Governance and Delivery of SAP technical upgrades in your region by working with platform / infrastructure team and partner test leadsProcess Improvement: Continuously refine and optimize processes to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Drive innovation in test methodologies, tools, and technologies.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with IT, business units, and third-party vendors to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables. Oversee partner funding, including Statements of Work (SOWs), purchase orders (POs), and invoices.Leadership: Provide strategic direction and mentorship to teams. Cultivate a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and excellence within a complex, matrixed organization with your teams and reporting lines spread across India, UK and Poland.Industry Focus: Market research and vendor engagement to know new offerings in testing tools and technology and build viewpoints for MDLZ adoption

Qualifications:

Experience: 12–15 years (Salary grade 12) of project delivery and governance experience, with a strong focus on the software delivery lifecycle of SAP and non-SAP projects.Technical Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of infrastructure, middleware platforms, and SAP systems, including their operational and technical aspects.Proficiency with Tricentis qTest, TOSCA, JIRA and an understanding of Risk-Based Testing approaches.Ability to work effectively with partners across different time zones and cultural backgrounds.Strategic and Operational Acumen: Demonstrated ability to think strategically while maintaining focus on process efficiency and cost optimization.Financial and Contractual Knowledge: Solid understanding of financial and commercial aspects of partner funding, including SOWs, POs, and invoice management.Leadership Skills: Proven ability to influence and engage senior leaders across technical and business domains. Adept at problem-solving and navigating complex organizational structures.Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to diverse audiences.Adaptability and Self-Learning: A proactive approach to learning new tools and processes with minimal support. Ability to identify and define new processes or adjust existing ones to drive value.Multi-lingual skills: Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is a must along with the local regional language of communication.
