Test Lab Technician

Hexcel is currently seeking a Test Lab Technician for our Kent, WA, USA location. The Test Lab Technician performs a variety of mechanical and physical tests on composite specimens.

Summary pay range: $48,350 - $82,885 annual salary. This role is non-exempt.

The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:

Prepare composite specimens for variety of testing procedures. Conduct testing on composite specimens, including flammability testing.Assist in sample receiving and lab test request processingExcellent customer service - timely communication with internal customers in conjunction with lab test requests. Periodic interface with customer quality auditors.Interpret customer requirements and specifications as these pertain to lab testing.
 

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required.   Preference will be given to those with applicable college or technical school background.Minimum of one year hands-on lab experience.  Relevant education or certificate from a Hexcel approved program will be considered.Ability to write routine reports and correspondence using MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
