Your role and responsibilities

Do you have the experience with testing to develop a clear vision of how the optimal test setup should be structured? And do you have the communication skills to bring your colleagues on board with your ideas? If so, this role offers a unique career opportunity.Your mission will be to design and manage a new test setup for software in automation and control systems. Over time, your work will ensure that we conduct tests based on best practices, with standardized processes and templates across the entire service organization.Your first task will be to develop a new test strategy. To achieve this, you will collaborate closely with Lead Engineers and Project Managers to map the current status, needs, and expectations. Additionally, you will create the processes, templates, and tools needed to enable your colleagues in Engineering to perform tests aligned with the strategy.Key aspects of this role include enabling and facilitating, with training and guidance as core components of how you empower your colleagues to elevate their testing capabilities.You will be based at either our Danish headquarters in Middelfart or our office in Ballerup, taking ownership of our existing test facilities. Regular visits to the alternate location and occasional trips to Aalborg are necessary to ensure alignment and that all teams feel heard and supported.Your responsibilities: •\tDefine a new test strategy •\tBe responsible for our test environments•\tCreate the necessary templates, processes and tools to make the strategy come alive•\tDefine standard test cases\t•\tPlan and carry out training on testing principles and methods•\tCoach and guide your engineer colleagues to execute tests aligned with the strategy•\tEnsure test documentation is standardized •\tEstablish yourself as the organizations Subject Matter Expert #1 within testing

Qualifications for the role

\tSolid experience within testing methods, processes, standards etc. \tExperience from technical environments where software must be integrated into something physical, e.g. wind turbines\tMotivation for working with Azure DevOps\tGood communications skills in English, Danish skills are an advantage\tThe necessary overview and structure to build and implement a new setup\tDiplomatic tact and collaboration skills
