Our Opening and Your ResponsibilitiesFor our Laboratory Weighing (LabTec) division, which is the world's leading manufacturer of laboratory balances, we are looking for the Greifensee location, METTLER TOLEDO's global operational headquarters, for an enthusiastic Test Manager and Team Lead 80% – 100% (all genders) to join our R&D organization.
In this role, your responsibilities would include:You develop and implement testing strategies and plans to ensure the quality and reliability of software productsYou lead and mentor the testing team, providing guidance and support to help achieve project goalsYou collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify testing requirements and resourcesYou monitor and report on testing progress, ensuring alignment with project timelines and quality standardsYou manage defect tracking and resolution processes, ensuring timely follow-up on issues.You stay updated with industry trends and best practices in software testing and quality assuranceYou represent the Software Testing Team within the extended R&D Leadership teamWhat You Need to SucceedFollowing requirements are necessary for this role: You have a higher degree in computer science or electrical engineering (Uni/ETH, FH) or comparableYou have least three years of professional people leading experience, ideally in an industrial high-tech or within a product development environmentYou have a strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologiesYou possess experience with test automation tools and frameworksYou demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsYou have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environmentYou speak English (knowledge of German is an advantage) and are motivated to work in an international environment
