Your role in ZEISS as a Test Manager with Project Management experience:

As the Test Manager, you will have a pivotal role in implementing the test strategy, actively driving end-to-end quality assurance for SAP migration and implementations project. Working in a central test management team, you will implement test strategy, test scope, plan, and estimates, create test concepts, support in test design, test case creation, test automation, test execution and reporting on test progress and quality status.

Collaborate within the central Test Management team to establish enterprise-level SAP test strategies, methodologies, and approaches for both functional and non-functional test automation.

Engage closely with Project Managers to effectively manage test scope, estimate costs and efforts, handle risks, and provide periodic progress reports, highlighting challenges and proposing potential solutions to senior management.

Plan, manage, and coordinate test management activities for the Migration Project across various SAP streams such as Sales and Distribution, Finance, Purchasing, Manufacturing and Logistics, Security, and Demand Chain, ensuring successful project completion.

Provide guidance to deployment teams on developing test cases, identifying test needs, and troubleshooting issues, supporting them throughout the testing process.

Act as the main point of contact for deployment teams, channeling testing requests to relevant teams and departments to ensure efficient coordination.

Understand the unique challenges associated with SAP testing and collaborate with the Central Test Management team to develop and provide appropriate solutions.

Coordinate testing activities and synchronize efforts across multiple deployment projects.

Ensure adherence to standardized testing approaches and best practices.

Support the central test management group in exploring new aspects of testing, such as automation and non-functional testing, and contribute to solutioning in these areas.

A university degree in IT, information systems, or a related field.

Strong knowledge of the overall software test life cycle.

Good to have experience in SAP Test Management or coordination, preferably with Solution Manager for S4/HANA.

Strong organizational and project management experience.

Good to have eEperience with various S4/HANA functionalities and SAP Modules such as SD, MM, WM, and FICO.

Good to have experience in test automation and relevant frameworks and tools like TOSCA, UFT, and SAP TAO.

ISTQB certification or other equivalent certifications in the field of quality assurance.

Experience working in a co-located team, with a willingness to travel.

Excellent communication skills in English and German.
