About the role

Test Operator tests Dyson products, components and systems for function and reliability on a variety of test platforms. Determines if the designated product passes all test cycles. Collects diagnostic information needed to isolate any product failure. Inspects product for any physical damage or contamination.

Collects diagnostic information needed to isolate any product failure.Places the appropriate test marks on failure location.Inspects product for the correct placement and orientation of untested components.Communicate and advise on test findings to test technician.Perform 5s activities, machine receiving and scrap.Performs routine preventive maintenance at specified intervals on testers, chambers, fixtures, etc.May train new test operators.To always ensure compliance within the lab to legal and Dyson’s policy on occupational health & safety requirements and continuously improve occupational health and safety performance. Practice good housekeeping of test labs.To carry out other tasks such as wiring, documentation and troubleshooting problems when required as instructed.
 

About you

Completion of a high school diploma, GED, leaving certificate or equivalent is preferred. Successful completion of company provided training may be required.Must have at least 2 years of work experience in the electronics or semiconductor industry.Has basic computer skills.Must be resourceful, and assertive.Have good communication.Knowledgeable in product troubleshooting, de/soldering and repair is an advantage.Experience in hardware/software validation and verification for medium and high-end testers is an advantage.Goal and results-oriented, assertive, and hardworking Able to work independently as well as in a group effectively.
