JR39151 Test Product Integration Engineer (Evergreen)

As a Product Integration Engineer at Micron Technology, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams through the Final Test New Product Introduction (NPI) process.  You will work closely with Engineering Teams throughout the company to ensure successful new product final test capability to meet and improve on time-to-market across all Micron’s products.  

Responsibilities and Tasks:  

Responsibilities for this role will include, but are not limited to, the following:  

Facilitate and lead Package Test Product Teams comprised of representatives from each group within the Test department.  

Work with groups outside of Test to identify and close technical gaps related to new product integration.  

Communicate Test Process of Record Status for each New Product Introduction.  

Maintain New Product Data, Test Product Team web pages, and other key reference information.  

Serve as a Liaison between Test and other areas/departments.  

Represent Test at key interdepartmental meetings such as New Product Kickoffs and Project Focus Teams.  

Participate in strategic package groups and contribute to development of Test Package/Capability Roadmaps.  

Present New Product and Strategic Product plans to Test leadership and Test Technical groups.  

Review and approve MFG Package Outline Drawings.  

Provide feedback from Test Product Team on product validation to external groups and broker joint solutions between global technical teams.  

Participate in driving HVM readiness for our Test Site for product introduction to our test site in Taiwan 

Qualifications:  

Successful candidates for this position will have:  

Minimum of 5yrs experience in an Engineering role with direct semi-conductor product or manufacturing experience.  

Knowledge and experience with New Product development and Product Life Cycle Management.  

Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand engineering needs and translate them into actionable plans, deliverables, and resource requirements.  

Demonstrated project management and organization skills.  

Ability to quickly and effectively use Micron’s manufacturing processes and systems like MAM, TTE Data, etc.  

Capability to read and understand MFG Package Outline Drawings and semiconductor pin out documentation.  

Ability to inspire others, foster creativity and innovation, and drive ongoing improvement of new product introduction effectiveness and efficiency.  

Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.  

Ability to communicate effectively with a multi-national extended team.  

Ability to lead change and adapt to change within a broad matrix organization.  

High degree of self-initiative and ability to think and act independently.  

Demonstrated ability to give attention to details and takes ownership for a broad range of responsibilities.  

Proven problem solving and analytical skills and techniques.  

Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Excel and Project.  

Required Education:  

Bachelor of Science in CS, EE, or ME preferred.  Consideration will be given to candidates with an appropriate combination of related experience and education.
