Boeing Global Services (BGS) is a rapidly growing segment of the Boeing Company, and the C-17 G3 contract represents a key program within it. The G3 Program provides sustaining engineering in multiple engineering disciplines. This position will support equipment software development, integration, qualification, and investigation of fielded software anomalies. We are seeking a Mid-Level or LeadTest Program Set Engineer to work out of our Long Beach, California office.

In this role, the candidate will perform activities related to the development and integration of test program hardware and software products, troubleshoot failing systems, investigations into data related field issues, and general support leading to a healthy C-17 fleet maintenance posture.

A successful candidate in this position will have experience with electrical hardware, basics of electro-mechanical design, software development and general multi-discipline troubleshooting experience. The candidate must also be an excellent communicator, exhibiting an ease with interfacing and working directly with customers and C-17 Maintenance personnel as well as Boeing leadership. The candidate must be able to demonstrate general leadership skills. Test Program Set development experience is required, and experience with automated test equipment and computer architecture are considered pluses.

Position Responsibilities:

Test Program development in LabWindows CVI environment.Field issue investigation and resolution.TPS qualification and audit.Development metrics generation and explanation.Internal and external Customer interaction.TPS documentation development.Test Program and Automated Test Equipment integration.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics or physics.3+ years’ Electrical and Electronic Engineering experience.Experience with computer software to document data.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range Mid-Level (Level 3): $102,850 - $139,150

Summary pay range Lead (Level 4): $128,350 - $173,650
