Test Stand Leader Engineer

Serve as hydraulic test engineering leader at the Flowserve Santa Clara laboratory. Be the point of support to the other test engineers to give feedback on improvements, test preparations, results and troubleshooting of the manufacture of Flowserve Santa Clara pumping equipment.

Likewise, to ensure together with the test team that the necessary actions are carried out to guarantee the correct operation of the equipment assembled in the EPO (Engineered Pump Operations) area, coordinate and carry out the diagnosis of failures and establish assertive communication with the various areas involved, obtaining an FPY (First Pass Yield) of 100% in all product lines.

In this order of ideas, the preparation of procedures, reports and clarifications about them are attended by the test leader.

Responsibilities

Review and preparation of highly complex, high-specification-loaded pump testing procedures.Participate in meetings with customers and external parties regarding tests, reports and procedures related to the testing of the equipment we manufacture at Flowserve Santa Clara.In coordination with the floor assembly supervisor, develop a test program to be carried out, seeking the optimization of engine assemblies and arrangements.Analysis of test results and definition of modifications to equipment in order to obtain the result offered. Perform the tests on equipment:NPSH.Mechanical.Motor Function TestImpact testSpecial TestAs a Lead Engineer, he is responsible for directing the actions related to the testing process with the laboratory, production and project management team.  ​

Requirements

Mechanical, industrial, mechatronic or final engineering.Solid knowledge in Hydraulics and Mechanics.Upper Intermediate to Advanced English (written and read)Availability to work 100% at our plant in Ecatepec, State of MexicoExperience in manufacturing companies of engineering equipment to order, minimum 3 years in a plantKnowledge of equipment performance testing, electrical concepts, and instrumentation.Medium to advanced use of Excel (pivot table generation analysis) and basic macro developmentInterpretation of geometric and dimensional tolerances, interpretation of plans.P&ID drawing interpretation, general arrangement, component machining.Industrial safety knowledge

Desirable:

Experience in laboratories/test benches or related activities of 5 years.Knowledge of vibration analysis, level 2 vibrations institute desirableSome certification such as: Lean Manufacturing, 6 sigma Green Belt/ Black Belt, Operation Excellence
