Job Description
This role will support acceptance testing functions on production AND development/prototype products within the Advanced Product Center (APC) at the McKinney, TX site.
The effective candidate will perform a wide variety of tasks and testing functions in support of a manufacturing / production environment on 2nd shift. The candidate will work directly with engineering on production and troubleshooting tasks.
What You Will Do:
· Problem-solving skills with the ability to proactively identify alternate solutions to overcome technical challenges.
· Fault-isolate problems and assisting in the resolution of issues between the test environment (test station, interface adapter, test cables, etc.) and the devices under test.
· Experience in observing, analyzing, and reporting test data.
· Select and set up appropriate test equipment based on test specifications.
· Interpretation of test data (plots, graphs, tabulated parameters, etc.) to choose pass/fail condition and resolve when further analysis is needed.
· Basic use of hand tools, torque tools and analyzers, and power tools
· This will be an onsite role working the 2nd shift.
Qualifications You Must Have:
· Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years relevant experience
· Experience with VM, CMES, SAP, or other manufacturing automation databases and tools.
· Experience with Microsoft excel, MATLAB, programming, drive share mapping, and basic computer programs.
· Experience in performing product tests by utilizing procedures, manuals, schematics, engineering drawings, verbal instructions, and other related documentation under limited supervision.
· Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
· Minimum 2 years of testing experience. Education in a STEM background may be substituted for work experience.
· Experience with Oscilloscopes, Pulse Generators, Programmable Network Analyzers, Signal Generators, Multimeters, and other test assets
· Related experience working in a Manufacturing, Assembly, Aviation or Naval Environment with hands on technical experience in repair, installation, and inspection.
· Experience in performing product tests by utilizing procedures, manuals, schematics, engineering drawings, verbal instructions, and other related documentation under limited supervision.
