Element is currently seeking a Full-Time, Long-Term 2nd shift Test  Technician for a facility located in Kokomo, Indiana (46901).

The Test Technician will be responsible for the setup and performing crash test on “Test Dummies”.

 

Pay rate: $20/hr

Responsibilities Accurate placement of test dummies and child seats into vehicle seatsFollow test procedures and protocolsRecording data using computer tools or spreadsheetsSetup of seats and test bucks for testing, using common hand toolsDisassembly and reassembly of vehicle seats-cinching seats with hand toolsAssembling wire harness for testingDriving test vehicles on defined routes for data collection Working with “live” test subjects in seats to record data Skills / Qualifications Accurate data entry/recordingMust have basic computer skills using Microsoft Excel and Outlook/Email. Must be able to work 2nd shift 3:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.Familiar and capable using standard hand toolsPhysically able to lift, place and manipulate child seats and test dummiesMust be able to lift up to 50lbs-100lbs (please note we have tools that assist with lifting)Able to follow test procedures.Attention to detail1-3 years of experience in a lab or testing environment Company Overview
