Are you ready to grow your career in a role that blends hands-on technical work with problem-solving? We’re looking for an Electronics Test Technician to join our team and help us keep our production test equipment running smoothly.
Your Role:
In this role, you’ll be supporting our Test Engineers with:
• Maintaining and calibrating production test equipment.
• Assembly/repair of circuit boards and wiring harnesses.
• Providing first-line support for equipment breakdowns.
• Updating documentation to ensure it aligns with our processes.
• Developing test programs for cable assemblies.
About You:
We’re looking for someone who brings a passion for electronics and a keen eye for detail. Ideally, you’ll have a minimum qualification of HNC (or equivalent) in Electronics Engineering and have experience working with test equipment in a manufacturing or production environment.
Other skills and experiences that will help you succeed:
Experience of working with Automated Test Equipment.• Familiarity with electronic systems, PCBs, and components.
• Understanding of mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Experience using test equipment like oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies.
• Basic knowledge of computer architecture and hardware.
• Soldering skills (through-hole and surface mount), with J-STD training as a bonus.
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach.
• Confidence using tools like Microsoft Word and Excel.
