Eaton’s CPDI OPS Operations division is currently seeking a Test Technician I. At our Raleigh, NC location they engineer, manufacturer, and ship prodcuts related to electrical power distribution to 6 different segments. Some of those include Utilties, Institutions, Aerospace, and Residential. The Test Technician I role offers a 40-hour paid work week with hours being 6:00am-2:30pm Monday-Friday. WIth full time employment you are offered Benefits (Medical, Dental, & Vision), 401K percent match plan, and vacation.​

The hourly rate for this position is $25.00 per hour.

What you’ll do:

The Test Technician I will perform testing, troubleshooting and repairs on single phase and three phase medium voltage UPS systems.

In this role:

Read electronic schematics to ensure products meet defined specificationsReport any Non-conformance items by utilizing our Quality Management GuidelinesRecommend modifications and improvements to enhance the products for quality, reliability, manufacturability and cost effectivenessCommunicate with Production Associates, Quality Engineering Technician, Manufacturing Engineers and Test Engineers to resolve daily production and warranty issuesCheck maintain equipment to ensure compliance with ISO 9000:2000 standardsIdentify and implement corrective actions for the repair, replacement and calibration of laboratory tools and manufacturing equipmentUse the principles of 5S+ to ensure a clean and organized work areasQualifications:

Basic (Required):
 

High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school A minimum of one year of work experience in electronics with testing and troubleshooting skillsBasic knowledge of Electronic Test Measurement DevicesLegally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorshipRelocation assistance is not available for this position. Only candidates in the immediate geographic area (50 mile radius) will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
