As a Test Technician Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in testing and evaluating aerospace systems and components. You will be accountable for conducting tests, analyzing data, and ensuring the quality and performance of our products. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team at the forefront of aerospace innovation.

In this role, you will impact the quality and reliability of our aerospace systems and components. Your attention to detail and expertise in testing will contribute to the overall success of our products.

Key Responsibilities

\n\n1st shift: 6:00am-2:30pm Monday-Friday\n\n

        2nd shift: 2:30pm-11:00pm Monday-Friday 

\n\nPerform System and Board level Testing\nPerform Automated System Level Testing by following detailed written procedures and on the job experience on multiple segments\nDocument system level Events and failures accurately in the data book and e-factory. \nUpdate and maintain e-factory status of units in segment.\nProduct knowledge that helps with ability to conduct basic level troubleshooting.\nPerform test set-up and teardown of associated equipment and cables, storing in designated locations when not in use.\nAbility to work across and test multiple products.\nVaried tasks are performed and completed by following test work instructions and applying Honeywell policies and procedures.\nUtilization of tools, computers, and office equipment as required to complete job related tasks.\nInteracts with other Test Team members and Engineering Support.\n\n

Candidate must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements

Must Have

\n

   •   2+ years of experience as a Test Technician

\n

   •   Attention to detail and ability to analyze test data

\n

 

\n

    • Associate degree in Aerospace Technology or a related field

\n\nExperience in assembling electrical components\nHave an understanding of electronics and proficient use of general purpose test equipment such as oscilloscopes and multi-meters.\nAbility to read schematics, follows written procedures, and applies computer skills and technical knowledge to competently troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.\nNavigation equipment experience and knowledge of environmental screening (Halt — Haas chamber) is a plus.\n\n
