CIS is seeking to hire an enthusiastic entry level Test Engineer to work on a small team in a dynamic, mission focused environment.  The candidate for this entry-level job will be required to test, inspect, upgrade, and maintain various types of electronic equipment. The candidate will work with customers, vendors, and fellow team members to quickly resolve issues, and to devise creative solutions to problems. The candidate will develop test procedures and use available resources to track and report status to management.

Clearance required: TS/SCI with Poly

Required Skills:

Basic experience with test equipment   Fundamental understanding of RF electronics theoryCompetency with desktop computing and application programs (Microsoft Office, email, instant messaging, databases)Organized, innovative team playerExisting TS/SCI security clearance with full polygraph

Desired Skills:

Solid understanding of RF, Wi-Fi, WiMAX, and Cellular technologiesAdvanced experience with test equipment (Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, etc.)Excellent written, verbal, and analytical skillsExcellent problem-solving skills.

Required Education / Experience:

An Associates degree with equivalent experience or a BS degree with no experience required.  Additionally, candidates without a degree who have 8+ years of work experience will be considered.

Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.  U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

The salary range for this role is 53,000 USD - 103,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
