As a Silicon Validation Engineer, you will be part of an R&D team developing high speed SerDes PHYs. You will work with a cross functional design team of analog designers and hardware engineers from a wide variety of backgrounds.

Responsibilities and Duties:Performing testing on silicon implementations of high-speed analog integrated circuitsResults review and debugging of silicon under test, as well as hardware supportingRunning characterization tests and creating test reportsCreating test boards/hardware solutions to support test, debug, and characterizationApply theoretical knowledge to investigate and explain circuit behavior and circuit limitations in a testing and characterization environmentKey Qualifications:BSEE Solid Analog IC circuit knowledgeSolid debugging skillsLab equipment skills (oscilloscopes, network analyzers)Software programming experience (MATLAB, Python are preferences)FPGA programming knowledge (Verilog)Knowledge of interface protocols such as USB, PCI Express, SATA and EthernetKnowledge of NRZ and PAM4 encodingKnowledge of communication interfaces such as JTAG, I2C and SPIGood English communication skillsThe base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $101,000-$151,000. In addition, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses.
