Testing Research Associate
JOB PURPOSE:
Testing Manager is responsible for testing (Phenotyping) and generation of data on pre- commercial (Phase 1 to Phase 3) product pipeline of Vegetable R&D. He/ she must ensure product testing for right PMT and geography. This job includes day to day operations of testing program, guiding field staff, TRAs, ensure safety and compliance related to job. Person on job must Partner with product teams, unit support squad, product portfolio strategy and commercial team for success of Veg R&D product portfolio. Key Deliverables includes Planning, execution and management of trials, enabling decision that drive pipeline advancement and placement, deliver our integrated product system commercial portfolio to address market needs with precise accurate data. Drive analytics and automation in testing through concept validation and pipeline implementation.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Executes overall testing in given geography, ensure proper allocation of resources for delivery of product pipeline, understand key business and financial parameters and their impact.Coordinate with product units/mission teams / stakeholders, ensure planning & execution of all Pre- commercial (PCM-1, PCM-2 and PCM-3) hybrid testing trials following right scientific experimental designs both at site and off-site territoriesProduct unit /mission team level coordination for success of trialsEnsure precise high-level quality data collection using enterprise digital tools like Velocity, collect. Ensure to coordinate data quality check for clear interpretation of the results along with recommendationsBridge closely with the mission teams, product units, unit support squads, product portfolio and commercial teams to ensure required products are being tested as per Bio-zone/ season/segment /GeographyGuide and develop team through effective leadership, focusing on organizational goalsCollaborate with different product units/mission teams across regions and scout products as per market requirement, ensure testing, product characterization and high-quality data generationEnsure adaptation of new tools, technologies, testing protocols including Innovation in testingEnsure continuous improvement in testing tasks by Seeking feedback from all internal and external stakeholdersPerforming all tasks and behaving in a manner compliant with and in support of all safety related company policies and practices, including completing all required Company training courses and attending safety activity., Government / External stakeholders Liasoning.

WHO YOU ARE:
BS degree with 7 years/ MS degree in Agriculture/ allied fields with 3 years Agronomy/other agriculture related field experienceDemonstrate ability to develop projects and analyze and interpreted dataKnowledge in market requirement on vegetable crops to be able to drive geography level decision making based on dataField Agronomy/breeding knowledge to be able to drive geography level decision making based on data.Knowledge of statistics, experimental designs, strong computer skills related to data analysisAbility to challenge status quo and to embrace changeAbility to lead and influence key stakeholders through challenges and opportunities; facilitates solutionsGood written and oral communication skillsDevelop strong relationships and networksGeneral Job requirements: 40% travel, 40% field work, 20% computer work, 40 hrs./week
