Job Description
Administer and supervise all comprehensive testing/assessment services in a standardized and secure testing environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Assist in coordinating and arranging all department events and activities.
+ Manage department budget accounts.
+ Maintain department website.
+ Compile semester data and create reports related to department services and programs.
+ Supervisor part-time staff proctors.
+ Administer all testing activities to ensure integrity and security of testing environment and materials.
+ Maintain security and confidentiality for all testing materials.
+ Write and update as needed the testing rules and procedures manual.
+ Process machine scored answer sheets and provide faculty with statistical information in a timely manner.
+ Plans and coordinates with faculty and appropriate departments to provide and maintain testing services, including disability accommodations. Assists in the selection of computer and paper-based tests.
+ Plans and facilitates the installation and maintenance of computer hardware, software, and other equipment.
+ Corresponds and interacts with external testing agencies including Educational Testing Service (ETS), American College Testing (ACT), Law School Admission Council (LSAC), College Board, Pearson Education, and others.
+ Corresponds and interacts with online proctoring service providers.
+ Work with university departments and external organizations to strengthen assessment opportunities for professional and technical licensure and certifications.
+ Assist in building student awareness for opportunities to earn credit for prior learning.
+ Recruit and train proctors for tests as needed.
+ Maintain certification and/or training requirements for administering standardized testing.
+ Maintain working knowledge of academic advising services and assist with advising during peak times such as orientation and registration periods.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Minimum Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ Three years of related experience.
+ Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation applications.
+ Knowledge of basic accounting.
+ Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Three (3) years administrative experience
+ Three (3) years of computer/Microsoft Office software experience
+ Effective decision-making, interpersonal and customer services skills
+ Strong organizational skills
+ Experience with reconciliation of budget accounts
+ Master’s degree
+ Prior work experience in academic testing and measurement in a standardized testing environment.
Other Requirements
+ Work beyond normal office hours and/or work on weekends may be required based on staffing needs.
+ Ability to maintain confidentiality
+ Commitment to providing access and positioning testing services to serve an integral role in the institution’s student success efforts.

This position generally supervises part-time employees.
