Testing Technician

Role Summary

As a Testing Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products. Your primary responsibility will be to perform various tests and inspections on our products, components, or systems to identify defects, evaluate performance, and ensure compliance with quality standards. You will also be responsible for creating Packing Lists, performing audits on material shipping, material in our system.

Key Responsibilities

Test Execution: Conduct a wide range of tests, such as functionality, durability, safety, and performance testing, following established procedures and protocols.Data Collection: Record and document test results accurately and thoroughly, maintaining organized and detailed test logs.Equipment Operation: Operate testing equipment and tools, ensuring they are calibrated and maintained for accurate testing.Troubleshooting: Identify, report, and help troubleshoot issues or defects in products, working closely with engineers or quality control teams.Compliance: Ensure that all testing procedures and processes adhere to industry standards, company guidelines, and relevant regulations.Safety: Maintain a safe testing environment, following safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and hazards.Reporting: Prepare clear and concise test reports for review by quality control and engineering teams, summarizing findings and providing recommendations.Process Improvement: Suggest improvements to testing methods, equipment, or processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Job Requirements

High School Diploma or GED**: Minimum educational requirement.Associate Degree or Certification**: Preferred in a related field such as electronics, engineering technology, or a specific technical area relevant to the job.Technical Skills**: Proficiency in using testing equipment and tools, understanding of testing procedures and protocols, and ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.Attention to Detail**: Precision and accuracy in performing tests and recording results.Problem-Solving Skills**: Ability to troubleshoot issues and identify root causes of problems.Computer Skills**: Familiarity with relevant software and data entry for recording test results.Communication Skills**: Ability to clearly document and communicate findingsMicrosoft office (Word, Excel)
