Team overview and job responsibilities
We are looking for a Plant Manager to join our manufacturing team. Based in Tetla / Tlaxcala -Mexico; the candidate will be responsible of planning and coordinating the operation of the plant in a way that guarantees the availability and delivery of product on time, meeting standards, quality requirements and respect for the environment and workers, optimizing the use of plant resources and controlling the cost of production.
Job responsibilities
Planning and directing the activities related to the manufacturing, maintenance and manufacturing processes, in order to guarantee compliance with the requirements of the clients, legal standards in force as appropriate, complying with the Integral Management System and always favoring continuous improvement. Ensure the efficient use of the resources in charge: raw material and inputs (Usage and Scrap), personnel, machinery and infrastructure. Ensure compliance with control actions and improvement in the management of quality, health and safety at work and the environment. Support the manufacturing and maintenance directorates in the fulfillment of their responsibilities regarding the Integral Management System.Ensure that the product meets the quality specifications required by the customer.Ensure that the objectives of the KPIs plant are met.Assign responsibilities to plant employees and give due support for them to fulfill their duties.Determine areas of improvement for the operation, processes and organization of the plant.Responsible for establishing strategies and actions to meet the objectives of Prysmian Group.Responsible for communicating the results of the operation to the different levels of the organization.Ensure a good working environment for employees.Ensure that risks are determined and managed within the process.In case the results in the indicators are not achieved, implement corrections and/or corrective actions to achieve the planned results.Guarantee that the nonconformities found in the process under its management are managed (Corrective Actions).Ensure that preventive actions are implemented as a result of trends in indicators (Effectiveness and efficiency).Manage the understanding, involvement, and operation of the process in all participants of the same.Inform senior management monthly of the results of the indicators of effectiveness and efficiency of the process, as well as, where appropriate, the corrections undertaken when the planned results are not achieved.Promote and to train employees in the requirements of other support processes or with which it interacts to achieve the effective operation of the QMS (a.g.; Dissemination of quality policy, communication activities, motivation, safety at work, environmental aspects in the GSC.)Attend and respond immediately to any non-compliance associated with the management of the process (internal, external audits, claims, customer complaints).Who are we looking for?
