SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Textile Delivery Associate works under the direct supervision of the Warehouse and Logistics Manager. Responsible for the replenishment of exchange carts for nursing and ancillary areas; fills and delivers orders according to daily schedules; uses hand held inventory units to generate usage info; rolls and fills scrub exchange units; picks up soiled linens and scrubs and transports to dock via pallet jack; assists drivers with loading of soiled linen onto trucks and unloading of clean linens from trucks. Processes washes/dry mops and other items as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
EXPERIENCE:
Prefer one year working experience in a material handling setting. Computer experience preferred.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers, nursing/department staff and supervision.
Must be able to understand and utilize efficiently hand held inventory tracking devices.Completes specific, routine tasks.Requires basic reading, writing and simple arithmetic skills as demonstrated through pre-hire assessment.Must be able to operate pallet jacks on a daily basis.Basic Computer Skills required.PROBLEM SOLVING / DECISION-MAKING:

Transports clean and soiled linens. Rolls and fills scrub machines. Operates small commercial washer/dryer Picks up/loads soiled linen carts Maintains daily activity records. Fills carts and orders.

Performs other duties as assigned. Will perform duties of the Textile Team Leader, as staffing requires.
