**Textile R&D Chemist III** Manufacturing Rockville , SC, US + Added - 20/02/2025 Apply for Job **Location:** York County, SC **Salary Range:** $65,000 - $73,000 per year **Bonus:** Up to 15% annually **Employment Type:** Full-time, Permanent We’re looking for a skilled Textile Chemist to join our innovative Technical Service Lab team in York County, SC. This is your chance to leverage your textile chemistry expertise in a fast-paced, hands-on R&D environment, making a direct impact on cutting-edge projects. **Essential Functions** + Conduct lab work and apply standard test methods, techniques, and formulations. + Analyze, test, and interpret data, presenting results to stakeholders. + Provide customer support and troubleshoot samples. + Qualify raw materials and contribute to specific research projects. + Document data accurately in lab notebooks and SAP. + Assist in training new employees. **Competencies** + Strong time management and attention to detail. + Proficient in SAP, Excel, and Lotus Notes. + Strong analytical and lab skills, with excellent communication. **Work Environment** + Chemical lab using standard equipment (Karl Fischer, HPLC, FTIR, etc.) and office equipment. **Physical Demands** + Typical lab functions, including lifting up to 5-gallon pails and standing or sitting for extended periods. **Required Education and Experience** + Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Textile Chemistry and at least 5 years of experience or Masters Degree with 2 years of experience. + Experience in textile dyeing and finishing applications/testing. + Knowledge of SAP and wet analytical methods. **Disclaimer:** This job description outlines the key duties and qualifications for the position, but is not an exhaustive list.
