What you will doThe Global Headquarters for Volvo Financial Services is seeking an outstanding professional candidate interested in a rewarding career to join our Talent for Tomorrow program. Our objective is to attract, develop and retain top talent in all areas of Financial Services. This two-year international rotational program is for motivated individuals who will have the opportunity to learn and begin a career in the Captive Finance industry.
As a Financial Services Professional you will be a member of our global development program for experienced professionals and current VFS employees. The intent of this international rotational program is to build our talent pipeline by providing a customized learning curriculum over a two-year period. The program will align individual career development with VFS future business needs to create shared value. Employees in the program will develop new skills, participate in projects and gain a broad and wide view of VFS globally.
Your starting point will be to, together with your colleagues at VFS and in the broad cross-functional network at the Volvo Group, take responsibilities in the following areas:
• Participates actively in the co-created 2-year individual rotation and development plan
• Accomplishes assignments and completes work as designed for the duration of the program
• Works within a team of other program members to accomplish group goals and tasks
• Works under the direction of various functional managers in planned functions
• Observes roles within the organization and performs various roles as required
• Fully integrates into the team for each program rotation and works towards common goals
• Actively learns from colleagues and managers
• Participates in planning, execution and presentation of projects
• Fully and openly participates in development including the effective use of assigned mentor
• Models Volvo Group and VFS values and follows the Code of Conduct
• Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications likely required to be successful in this role include:
• BS/BA in Finance/Accounting/Business/Economics/IT/Statistics or similar field is required. MBA a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years of corporate financial services experience
• Experience in financial services, transportation, banking and/or a large global organization very helpful
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office at the Intermediate level (Expert knowledge in Excel a plus)
• Innovative problem solving and strong analytical and quantitative abilities
• Proven ability to prioritize and work effectively on multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Past study-abroad or work-abroad assignments a plus
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Fluency in reading, writing and speaking English; additional languages very helpful
