This role is the key point of contact for the assigned Therapy Areas as it pertains to digital and tech. Act as the single point of accountability with the Global therapy areas in the Medical Affairs organization to adopt and fully execute the defined Global Medical Affairs Digital and Technology strategy, including the Medical Affairs applications related to Data Generation, Omnichannel, Insights and Content. The role will build relationships of trust, be accepted into the leadership team and be able to influence and help inform decisions into future facing capabilities that drive the business forward. A perfect candidate is seen to being critical to the annual business planning process. Keeping up-to-date externally on industry standards, practices, digital solutions etc. will also be important to ensure GSK is at the forefront of Medical Affairs digital innovation in line with the Global Medical Vision. The role will have deep knowledge and experience of industry technologies, practices and frameworks e.g. Innovative experience penetrating challenging problems within healthcare. These responsibilities include some of the following: Works with the Vaccines and Oncology therapy area leadership and teams to develop and implement an aligned digital and technology plan focused on measurable value creation for medical affairs Provides leadership & innovation in digital, data, and analytics to the Therapy Area Medical Affairs Leadership Teams Acts as a single point of accountability towards all GSK technology platforms and services Manages relationships with other critical internal teams in Digital & Tech (Medical D&T products teams, Digital Fuel, Regional D&T Leadership, R&D Tech) Ensures use of relevant commercial & medical tech / central services and collaborating with service partners in identification and delivery of medical capabilities and services Supports Medical & Commercial Digital & Tech Product Owners and product teams to deliver continuous value, fostering and maintaining close relationships with internal customers and related solution groups / vendors / agencies. Pro-actively engages in experimentation and innovation to drive continuous improvement towards Medical Affairs goals Contributes to release digital engagement plans and roadmaps working closely with Digital & Tech Product Owners Cross team delivery: Mastery of complex facilitation and dependency management techniques (cross-team, cross-department) Why you? Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field is desirable although relevant experience is equally valuable. Experience in strategic level partnering Experience in solution design, program and product delivery and service management Experience in delivering advanced Customer Experiences and business impact through process and Tech enabled solutions Experience in Omnichannel activation and insights and analytics Preferred Qualifications: If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: Master's degree Excellent relationship management, strong influencing and communication skills Experience with vendor management Content knowledge of respective functional area helpful (business operating models, processes & products) Experienced leader and able to show competence and understanding on Pharma business models, Digital transformation, environment changes and drivers behind change in preferences in engagement from the HCPs (considering differences across the regions and therapy areas), as well as challenges and impact in a medical affairs organization. Handle a very complex matrix and enable Digital Transformation, several challenges need to be overcome Able to work at a global level with complex multi-stakeholder global, regional and local spheres of influence. Able to work with the Medical Affairs Digital and Technology Strategy different elements across these stakeholders (Digital Fuel, Global Digital & Tech; Global Medical Affairs teams (and other functions within the Organization of the Chief Patient Officer) Experience in driving Digital Transformation forward bringing together diverse elements, most of them under responsibility of different teams within and outside the region (eg/ Global Digital & Tech, Digital Fuel, MOC).
