The Hill's Video team is seeking a motivated and creative individual to join us as a winter/spring Production Intern. In this role, you will have the opportunity to assist with our popular digital news products, RISING and "Daily Debrief". This internship will provide valuable hands-on experience in video production and journalism.Responsibilities:1. Assist with the pre-production planning for the tapings of "What's America Thinking" and "Daily Debrief.”
2. Research material for the video team and possibly book guests.
3. Set up and operate video equipment during tapings, ensuring high-quality audio and video.
4. Coordinate with hosts, guests, and production team members to ensure smooth tapings.5. Assist with editing and post-production tasks as needed.6. Help brainstorm and develop creative ideas for video content.7. Contribute to the overall success of the video team through collaboration and teamwork.
Qualifications:- Currently enrolled in a college or university program, majoring in Film, Media Production, Journalism, or a related field.- Strong passion for video production and storytelling.- Excellent communication and organizational skills.- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere is a plus.
