To ensure the highest level of Food and Beverage service in the Omni Nashville’s lobby bar, The Pick. To ensure proper training and supervision of all personnel, to deliver prompt, courteous service in a manner that complies with Omni Food and Beverage standards and company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the supervision and coordination of assigned shift, responsible for overall management of operation.Coach, mentor and develop assistant managers and hourly service staff. Oversee PM RIR operations and provide hands on leadership during the shift.Assist with communication between Ideal Services team and RIR servers.Ensure tray pick up and tracking for PM RIR shift and communicate any issues with pick up to AM food and beverage leadership.Order and inventory Lobby Bar glassware and equipment in cooperation with Executive Steward.Maintain food safety standards in Kitchen, Lobby Bar, and Room Service area.Conduct accurate inventory count of all The Pick products.Complete environmental checklist for dining room. Supervise related associate assignments.Stay on the floor during peak hours, supervising the performance of associates.Monitor each guest experience.Examine food and beverage preparation and provide corrective training where necessary.Supervise bar controls, shot glass use, red lining, bottles totally empty, liquor par list.Supervise cost control efforts to ensure the operations financial success.Participate in scheduling within budgetary guidelines.Forecast weekly and monthly.Completing weekly payroll and associated audit.Monitor labor and payroll costs.Oversee the order of daily supplies.Supervise the maintenance of dining room for cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance.Prepare maintenance requests, follow up.Hold pre-shift meetings and monthly OST meetings with associates.Follow up on established training steps, supervise performance, and provide necessary re-training.Participate in the selection and retention of The Pick front of house associates. Must be familiar with and adhere to all liquor liability laws.Must know emergency procedures (including CPR) and work to prevent accidents.Handle guest comments and complaints and ensure guest satisfaction.Responsible for reporting all product/service defects, and measuring process attributes as applicable.Able to set priorities for The Pick team and provide feedback to others that enhances performance.Performs any other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications 3+ years restaurant management experience in high volume upscale restaurant environment. Experience must include supervision of at least of a team of two assistant restaurant managers. Hotel experience preferred. Prior experience managing schedules, inventory, payroll, service recovery and associate relations matters required. Knowledge of TN liquor laws. Strong familiarity with beer, wine, and spirits; local knowledge preferred.Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate both verbally and in writing in English with guests, management, and co-workers, both in person and by telephoneAbility to multi-task and work in fast paced environment.Computer proficiencies including Microsoft office and payroll software experience. Ability to work well under pressure, managing a high volume of orders and guest requests.Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and provide guest follow up in a fast-paced environment.Serve Safe certified food manager.Ability to obtain an unexpired TABC permit.Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 40 pounds without assistance. Stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift. Requires repetitive motion arms, hands, and legs.
