Compensation: Compensation is dependent on experience. The base rate for this position ranges from $79,000 to $89,000 annually.
General Summary:
Manage all ASM Global Theatrical Services/Production personnel, processes and House Crew’s, administer payroll and labor services activity specific to Stagehand labor and activities for Denver Arts & Venues, including Red Rocks, the Denver Coliseum, and the Denver Performing Arts Complex (DPAC).
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee and provide support at for production management at DPAC.
Schedule Theatrical Services staff and House Crew’s, oversee the scheduling process, daily labor sign in process and activity for all Stagehand labor.
Generate, process, review/audit and submit labor calls, event billing estimates and timesheets
Manage and audit Stagehand payroll processes and create new policies and procedures where appropriate.
Meet daily labor/payroll process deadlines to ensure accurate and timely information reporting to all entities (Arts & Venues, IATSE, ASMG).
Implement and manage ASM Global Denver Stagehand safety programs.
Analyze existing back-of-house / labor practices, create/update SOP and provide trainings for Theatrical Services team and all House crews.
Foster and maintainproductive relationships through active leadership with the Theatrical Services teams and Denver Arts & Venues facility management.
Monitor and manage application of ASM Global and IATSE collective bargaining agreement and participate in CBA negotiations.
Work closely with ASM Global Finance and Arts & Venues management and Production Managers relating to purchasing, Stagehand payroll and labor issues.
Coordinate with ASM Global Denver Human Resources regarding Theatrical Services/Stagehand employees as it relates to company policy/progressive discipline.
Ensure a high level of customer service is maintained specific to all venue stakeholders.

Education and Experience:
Baccalaureate degree in area applicable to facility management, resource management, or the convention/entertainment industries required
Five years’ experience in facility management or supervision
Performance / back-of-house or stage management background
Familiarity with IATSE union labor environment / contract negotiation experience
Two to three years supervisory experience, required
Skills and Abilities:
Working knowledge of trades
Working knowledge of the live entertainment industry: including, theatrical/concert production processes, commonly used equipment and best practices.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of information
Ability to work under pressure dictated by event schedules and timetables.
Clearly demonstrated problem-solving ability
Demonstrate excellent communication (verbal and written) and inter-personal skills among all levels of staff and clientele
Ability to speak, understand, and read standard English
Work effectively with diverse groups of people among all levels within an organization; skill to work effectively as part of a team
Perform leadership role and job tasks effectively despite sudden deadlines and changing priorities
Excellent problem solving and organizational skills

Excellent record of dependability and reliability
Customer Service experience
Professional presentation, appearance, and work standards required.
Computer Skills:
Intermediate computer skills including ability to create word documents
Strong proficiency at excel spreadsheets.
