Promotional role covering scientific on-label conversations with Health Care Professionals (HCPs)Lead and simplify customer* interaction while coordinating other internal resources to support impactful customer engagement, respecting the distinction between promotional and non-promotional activities, as well as the Medical Independence, and following the Medical Information process.Promote licensed portfolio/productsAddress customer requests, incl. questions that are on-labelWork in close alignment with the Medical Science Expert (MSE) (e.g., MSE directly consulted while in-field). Address matters to the MSE where required according to the Medical Activities principles for appropriate and independent Medical judgement and action.Utilize systematic account planning (where applicable) & coordinate cross-functional execution of account plans to achieve strategic objectives and external impactWork in close alignment with MAP and any other deemed appropriate internal stakeholders upon need Add remote/virtual engagement to F2F (hybrid by design, incl. approved email, video calls, etc.)
Education / Work Experience
Bachelor’s degree / Business, Marketing, Life-Science relatedPermission to work as a pharmaceutical sales representativePreferably, an internal company qualification on sales managementAppropriate scientific/medical qualificationScientific/TA & indication knowledge (on-label) and experience when to hand over (off-label, pipeline, all other medical only activities) to medical affairs Scientific/TA & indication knowledge (on-label), product/asset strategy along with comprehensive intelligence of data on current and upcoming competitorsExperience when to hand-over off-label, pipeline conversations and conversations on Medical only activities (e.g., studies, donations for patients benefit, early access, medical information, medical education, etc.) to medical affairs, respecting Medical IndependenceStrong usage of ‘new’ virtual ways of engaging (our company Omnichannel tools to full extent)Pronounced selling skills (‘closing the deal’), speaking with impactAbility to build strong relationships with customers and key opinion leadersExcellent coordination and collaboration skills, cross-functional teaming Genuine team-playing abilities and empathyCommunication with impact - clear and motivational Strategic and critical thinking and problem solvingDecision-making skillsProject management skills
