Position Summary: Actively supervises and engages with campers throughout the day, including during group treatment services, lunch, structured recess, and recreational/enrichment activities to create a safe and therapeutic environment.

CAMP POSSIBLE DATES: 6/2/2025 - 8/1/2025
Position Description:
Monitor camper's location and interactions at all timesHelps plan, organize, prepare for, implement, and support therapeutic and recreational activities in conjunction with Treatment Group Leaders and Recreation Group Leaders.Role model appropriate interactions and teach campers how to interact positively with peers in a group setting. Role model and teach campers how to manage feelings and behaviors in a safe manner that supports interpersonal growth and development.Uses a trauma informed approached when interacting with campers and families.Develop and maintain healthy and professional relationships with clients. Maintain appropriate boundaries.Monitor client self-administration of medications and maintain documentation.Actively utilize approved intervention continuum techniques to maintain safety.Prevent and respond per trained guidelines to crisis situations.Intervene as early as possible to deescalate situations utilizing verbal prevention strategies. Prevent incidents which threaten safety or security of facility, staff, campers, or general public by intervening as soon as possible to de-escalateHandle and/or assist in emergency situations until contact with or in cooperation with appropriate authorities (e.g. administers first aid)Recognizes behavior changes and work with therapist and other staff to address as necessaryOther duties as assignedRequired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

High School Graduate or High School EquivalencyAt least 21 years of ageComplete and maintain training and/or certification as required by the agencyEssential Functions/Physical Demands:
