THERAPIST

The Therapist is primarily responsible for oversight and coordination of clinical services offered to assigned clients, including the provision of individual, group and family therapy.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:  

Masters degree in Social Work or related field required; Clinical Licensure in social work or counseling required (LCSW or LCMHC). Prior direct care and therapy experience with children required. Training in trauma treatment (such as TF-CBT) preferred. Experience with acute emotionally challenged children or adolescents preferred. Must possess the ability to be trained, and pass, First Aid and CPR certifications; Valid Driver’s License Required. Must possess basic personal computer knowledge and skills. Must be 21 years of age. Must have the ability to work evenings, flexible hours, and overtime as required.

JOB DUTIES: 

Perform biopsychosocial assessments, treatment planning, individual and group counseling, family counseling, discharge planning, individual therapy, group therapy and family therapy for each assigned client. Serve as liaison between clients, customers, parents, and other treatment team members to facilitate coordinated casework planning, therapy and outcomes. Provide customers with any required clinical reviews or reports as necessary for each assigned client. Provide biopsychosocial information, treatment plan updates, new developments in a child’s therapy and other pertinent information regarding the assigned clients to treatment team members in a clear and understandable fashion.
