St Claire Youth Treatment Center, located in Mt. Clemens, is a secure, residential treatment program that serves male high school youth (ages 12-18) who have mental health, substance abuse and/or behavioral needs. As an Evidence-Based Mental Health Program (EBMH), St. Clair prescribes evidence-based, trauma-informed therapeutic services, involves the family and community, and offers diverse social and educational opportunities that fosters a culture of learning, growth, and achievement. The St. Clair campus features single rooms, an indoor gym, library classroom space, kitchen and dining hall, and outdoor basketball courts and green space. 

Pay: starting at $62,000 per year.

What you will do: Our Therapists are responsible for overall delivery and implementation of each individual Client Treatment Plan, attending Child and Family Team meetings and treatment team meetings, and completing assessments, Client Treatment Plans and reports as required by the county and state.  This position reports to the Clinical Director or other designated supervisor. Services are provided to Adolescent Males (12-18) in a secure residential treatment program.

To be considered you should:

Be empathetic, patient, and treat others with respect. Depending on program location, employee must possess the education and current specific licensure required per licensing. Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred and licensure in the field of mental health as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Limited license is acceptable Have 1 year of prior experience working in a residential setting for children/NMD, their families or s and/or the Juvenile Justice/Child Welfare System. Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
