As a Licensed Clinical Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing immediate support and interventions to patients in need. Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with Primary Care Physicians (PCPs) as part of the medical team in the primary care environment
• Provide routine consultations with providers and brief 15-30 minute assessments and interventions with patients referred from PCPs for same-day warm hand-offs and follow-up care
• Administer evidence-based interventions to promote positive health behaviors for overall health and address immediate needs related to psychological health
• Assess patient safety and screen for behavioral health disorders
• Provide clear and concise feedback to providers, describing action plans and establishing plans for follow-up
• Facilitate integrated patient care by working collaboratively with medical teams
• Educate medical teams on identification and treatment of behavioral health concerns
• Support referrals to specialty mental health services as needed
• Promote positive working relationships between medical partners and Burrell Behavioral Health
Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:
• Must possess at least a Master’s degree in a Human Services field.
• Must be licensed in Missouri as a Professional Counselor (LPC), a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist (PhD/PsyD/LP).
• Provisional licensure (PLPC, LMSW, or PLP) may be considered.
• Applicants should have an interest in and/or experience with brief interventions, team-based care, a wide variety of psychiatric, substance abuse and behavioral medicine problems, and diverse populations.
Additional Qualifications:
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
