Therapy Aide/Rehab Aide- St. Peters Kisker Road

Part Time 

 This position starts at $17.50 /hr and increases based on education and experience

 

Overview:

As a rehab therapy aide you will assist the therapists in the clinic with appropriate activities, prepare equipment and maintain appearance and cleanliness of the physical clinic space for daily patient acitivities.  This is an ideal position for students getting their education in a medical related field.

Responsibilities

Therapy Aide performs patient related tasks assigned by therapist, including but not limited to:

Performs all duties in accordance with the rules and regulations regarding non-licensed personnel as outlined in the Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy Practice Acts.Assists therapist or front office staff with clerical duties including handling phone calls and inquiries, greeting and directing patients, confirmation of appointments, mailing tasks, filing and other duties as requestedMaintains the department and department equipment in a clean and orderly condition, including cleaning tables, equipment, assisting with laundry and maintaining supplies.Performs other duties as requested Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent requiredSome college experience in related healthcare field preferredPrior experience working within a physical therapy setting is preferred Additional Data
