Therapy Aide/Safety Coach - Inpatient Rehab

 

10 am - 6 pm, 5 days per week

Alternative weekends

Under the direction of a Licensed Therapist, assists patients in the rehabilitation process through the provision of appropriate rehabilitation techniques.

Supports therapy staff with the identification of patient needs for appropriate care in rehab treatment areas. Assists with coordination of care between rehab and nursing, including patient transport.Engages patients in diverse activities under the direction of a Licensed TherapistProvides observation to ensure patient's personal safetyCompletes daily assignments as directedReinforces rehabilitation techniques as directed Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

High school graduate or equivalent requiredCertified Basic Life Support with the America Heart Association is required prior to start. 

Preferred qualifications:

One or more years of hospital experience as therapy aide preferredSix months of general maintenance experience and use of hand/power tools preferred Additional Data
