**Job Description Summary** The candidates will help to run flow & thermal tests, provide an engineering support to shop on various projects and run CFD simulations. **Job Description** **Essential Responsibilities:** + Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhere to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements. + Write effective codes to automate tasks **.** + Document technical data generated by assigned projects consistent with engineering policies and procedures. + Provide an engineering support to shop on various projects and sustaining efforts. + Fundamental understanding of mechanical design (statics, strength of materials, dynamics etc.) + Have basic understanding of at least one coding language (Python, C++, etc.) + Have basic understanding of at least one CFD tool (e.g. ANSYS Fluent, CFX, etc.) + Have basic understanding of at least one modelling tool (e.g. Unigraphics, Solidworks etc.) **Qualifications/Requirements** : + Undergraduate (3/4 year), Master or Doctorate (not completed) in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering (Double degree on Computer Science preferred). + Good understanding of heat transfer, fluid mechanics & dynamics. + Must have coding skills (Python language is preferred) + Good command of English & Turkish (reading/writing). + Good command of MS Office Skills (especially MS Excel and MS Power point). + Eager to learn, open to communication, self-motivated **Desired Characteristics:** + Humble: respectful, receptive, agile, eager to learn + Transparent: shares critical information, speaks with candor, contributes constructively + Focused: quick learner, strategically prioritizes work, committed + Leadership ability: strong communicator, decision- maker, collaborative + Problem solver: analytical- minded, challenges existing processes, critical thinker **Additional Information** **Relocation Assistance Provided:** No GE Aerospace is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
