The Operator Specialist is responsible for supporting the efficient operation of one production line within the Foams thermoforming department.  

 

 

Pay Rate: $22.55 to $25.30 an hour - Paid Weekly

 

 

Shifts: Monday - Friday

1st:  7:00am to 3:30pm

2nd: 3:00pm to 11:30am * Shift Diferential $1.50 an hour

3rd: 11:00pm to 7:30am * Shift Diferential $2.00 an hour

 

 

Sign On Bonus $1000.00

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Successfully complete all Pactivevergreen led training for Packer/Specialist position; assist in training, as neededConsistently and safely operates machines at or above standard levels of operation, including waste, quality, efficiency and utilizationTrouble shoot, identify, and correct machine related problemsCompletes appropriate paperworkAble to inspect and recognize defective product Adheres to all housekeeping, standard work, food safety, and personal safety guidelinesSupport maintenance team and department during line change over and start-upPerform quality inspections and make machine adjustments to correct cause of defectsProvide coverage at the Packer and Operator level and cover multiple lines for short periods of time to cover for breaks/call-ins.Maintain inventory of supplies. 

 

 

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS: 

1-3 years of experience as Machine Operator in the plastics manufacturing industryPrior experience operating thermoforming machinesDemonstrated abilities as a team player, good cooperation, and communication skillsMust be able to lift up to 35 lbsAbility to understand and follow SWIS (Standard Work Instruction Sheets)Team Player attitudeAbility to set and manage priorities
