We have an immediate need for a Production Associate to join our Thin Film Coating Department. In this role, you will play a key part in the Operation of our Thin Film deposition chambers, developing the skills required to become a Thin Film Coating technician. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with skilled professionals, leverage advanced technologies, and contribute to the success of Raytheon ELCAN.

Primary Responsibilities:

Operating vacuum coating machines for the application of single, multi-layer coatingsInspecting and cleaning of optical componentsPreparing, cleaning and loading of coating chambersPerforming metrology measurement, such as transmission, reflection and elipsometryShare in the commitment towards a positive workplace culture
 

Qualifications & Experience:

Completion of Ontario Secondary School DiplomaCompletion Post-Secondary in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Manufacturing)Good manual dexterityStrong organizational skillsWorking knowledge of tooling, machining, gauges and proper use of equipmentUnderstanding of mechanical drawings, blueprints, and interpretationKnowledge and experience using measuring equipmentHighly effective communications skillsProven ability to solve technical problems and make sound decisionsHighly motivated with a demonstrated positive attitudeWillingness to learn and acquire knowledge/understanding through study, instruction or experience
