The Third Party Commercial and Governance Analyst, International Capabilities, Enablement and Optimization (CE&O) CoE, ICS will be responsible for ensuring all elements of commercials, cost and performance tracking, as well as compliance, contractual and technical requirements are adhered to for our key onboarding partners across the international markets. Working in close collaboration with key stakeholders such as Acquisition and Customer Marketing CoE, international markets, Risk and Control Management, and the third parties, the remit is focused on ensuring we continue to efficiently leverage third party partners for Onboarding activities whilst mitigating risk.
Reporting to the Third Party Commercial and Partner Manager, CE&O CoE ICS, this role will suit someone who enjoys working in a diverse, fast-paced team, that is passionate about building the future for American Express.
How will you make an impact in this role?
You'll be responsible for driving the success of our partnerships and ensuring the growth and profitability of our business by:
Own central initiatives end to end, acting as the key CE&O representative and working in close collaboration with the third-party. These initiatives include digital capability enhancements that focus on commercial strategies, performance reporting and adapting to regulatory changes. Oversee and optimize the central budget for third-party engagements, ensuring timely payments, accurate invoice management and a clear understanding of commercial impact. Monitor the performance of third-party partners, by tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and overall costs to deliver valuable insights for reporting and strategic decision-making. Develop and deliver insightful reports for both internal and external stakeholders, and Senior Leadership. Support ongoing governance activities as well as the evolution and documentation of existing control and monitor for the Partner processes. Issue management – day to day involvement in Partner processes to ensure smooth operationalisation of the partnerships, removing friction to improve the Enterprise Relationship and dealing with ah-hoc issues and Operational Risk Events. Act as a liaison between partner and Amex departments to ensure smooth processes. Proactively work across multiple teams across different business units, communicating effectively.Minimum Qualifications
